Questions

Everything people ask before they book.

If your question is not here, email hello@fotobooth.mu or send us a message on WhatsApp — we answer both.

Your guests step in front of the backdrop, watch themselves live on the touchscreen, and the booth counts them down. The DSLR fires, the print starts immediately and lands in their hand about twelve seconds later, already dry.

They can go straight back in and do it again. There is no session limit for the whole of your booking.

Unlimited sessions for the length of your booking — there is no photo count to run out of.

As a real-world figure: a four-hour event typically produces between 350 and 500 prints. The variable is how enthusiastic your guests are, not anything we cap.

6 × 4 inches — standard postcard size. They are produced on a dye-sublimation printer, which means they come out instantly dry, fingerprint-resistant and they do not fade the way inkjet prints do.

Yes, and it is included. We design a template specifically for your event — your names and date, or your logo and campaign artwork. Portrait or landscape.

You get three versions: an initial proposal plus two rounds of revisions. Further revisions are Rs 1,200 each and cannot be accepted within 72 hours of the event.

Choose your layout and send us any logos or high-resolution images at least 7 days before the event so there is time to get it right.

Yes — a full collection, refreshed regularly. Guests are welcome to bring their own as well, and for branded events we can work with props you supply.

Every photo from your event goes to a private cloud gallery. You get a private link to view and download everything, and it stays available for two years after the event.

The gallery is not public and is not indexed. If you need it kept beyond two years, extended storage is Rs 7,500 per year.

3 × 3 metres is the minimum. 5 × 5 metres is comfortable and gives us room for the backdrop, the lighting and a queue that does not block your venue.

We need a 13 A power socket (UK or French) within 20 metres, and a corner position works best so guests are not walking through the shot.

It can, provided it is properly sheltered. That means a professional-grade tent, anchored, closed on at least three sides, with the ground insulated — a wooden pallet is ideal.

This is not us being cautious for the sake of it. A booth is a camera, a computer and a thermal printer; rain and unstable ground are the two things that end an evening early.

Yes, and we arrange it. A site visit a few weeks before the event lets us confirm the position, the power and the access route, so nothing has to be solved for the first time on the night with your guests already arriving.

Send us your date and venue and we will come back with a quote for your event and our full price list. When you are happy, the quote becomes an invoice and a 50% deposit confirms the date.

The balance is due 7 days before the event, which is also when we finalise your template.

We carry backup equipment to every event, and our technical team is reachable throughout. Cancellation terms in either direction are set out in full in our service conditions.

Yes, but it runs under a separate brand with its own site — Photobooth360.mu. Plenty of clients book both for the same event; mention it when you request a quote and we will price them together.

The whole island. We regularly work in Grand Baie, Port Louis, Ebène, Flic en Flac, Chamarel, Belle Mare and the hotel belt, as well as private venues anywhere between.

If parking is more than 50 metres from where the booth is going, let us know in advance so we can arrange help moving the equipment.
